Dr. EDUARDO J. ORTIZ-CRUZ, MD, PhD studied Medicine at the Pontificia Javeriana University of Bogotá (Colombia) and the specialty of Orthopedics Surgery at the Puerta de Hierro University Hospital in Madrid (Spain). He accomplished the CLINICAL FELLOWSHIP in ONCOLOGICAL ORTHOPEDIC SURGERY at the MASSACHUSETTS GENERAL HOSPITAL in Boston, under the direction of HENRY J. MANKIN (RIP), after being a recipient of the prestigious Howard Hatcher Pathology Fellowship. In addition, prior to the clinical fellowship, he stayed as Research Visiting Felllow at Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli in Bologna and at Shands Teaching Hospital in Gainesville, USA.
